Our Mission
Our aim is:
‘to run an exciting museum as an excellent attraction, utilising historical artefacts, documents and the latest technology which will lead both the local community and visitors - of all ages - on a memorable journey through the rich maritime and social history of Llŷn’
Treasure Trove of Llŷn Maritime History
Vist the Museum to catch a glimpse of the area’s fascinating history. The past comes alive as you learn about the captains of old and of far-flung voyages, the smuggling and the enthralling recent discoveries. All kinds of treasures are exhibited here: maritime artefacts, fishing equipment, ship’s paintings, old maps and much more.
We are on the Wales Coastal Path and the Pilgrim’s Path. You can also follow circular tours, suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, from here.
